Anniversary portrait painting of Richard and Annie Seemel by their daughter, Portland artist Gwenn Seemel

This is a diptych of my parents. I made a pair of matched paintings of my father's brother and his wife in 2005. In some ways, the brothers could not be more different, but the family resemblance is, I think, clear in the two portraits.
