When I arrived at Michael's home to deliver his portrait, his dog barked and barked at me. I started to put the painting down in order to more properly greet the dog and, hopefully, get her to stop barking at me. That's when I discovered that she wasn't barking at me but at the portrait! I was delighted! That's maybe the nicest thing a dog has ever said about my work--believing a portrait to be a real person! I don't have a dog of my own, but my parents do. His name is Rouzic Argwellan. |
