I happened to be working on Kim's portrait when Stephanie Yao of the Oregonian came to photograph me in my studio. The portrait (in a very-beginning phase!) is in the background in one of these photos.
Kim and Harry decided to commission me to paint this diptych when they saw Marc Acito's portrait. |
