A common response to these bags is "I could never jam that under a car seat or put it under my chair at a restaurant." But that's the point: you should do just that! Oddly enough, using art has become taboo in the United States. It is a luxury maybe in our disposable culture and, hopefully, also a joy to use a well-made and beautiful thing, but it should not be taboo.
