Do-over / À refaire
Sometimes, in order to make a painting, I need to make two.
Parfois, afin de faire une peinture, j’ai besoin d’en faire deux.
I have trouble like this every so often with a painting, but it’s funny in this case because I had the same problem with Oliver’s mother. I painted Madeleine several times before making a final painting of her for my Private Masks series.
J’ai du mal comme ça de temps en temps avec une peinture, mais c’est drôle avec Oliver parce que j’ai eu le même problème avec sa mère. J’ai peint Madeleine plusieurs fois avant de faire un portrait final pour ma série Private Masks.
