I forgot to ask:
Do you have a “Statue of liberty” costume that you wore to paint the picture? Maybe just a crown?

I didn’t have a costume for the photo shoot for this painting or for any other of the paintings in the series, with the exception of this one for the hijab and this one where I needed the subject to wear a button down shirt and hold it open. Even though I didn’t have a costume, I posted a lot of the photo shoot for Liberty here because just getting the angle right turned out to be a problem…!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE.
It says so much!
To me it says “Hey, other countries, I AM America! Don’t mess with me. I am the statue of liberty and I am FREEDOM. Look up to me, respect me.”
