Beauty / La beauté
If I don’t believe in flattering my subjects, it’s because I don’t believe that today’s ideals of beauty are beautiful.
Si je ne flatte pas mes modèles, c’est parce que je trouve que les idéaux de beauté dans la vie contemporaine ne sont pas beaux.
I portray my sitters as they are, full of the beautiful dynamism of a living breathing person.
Je peins mes sujets comme ils sont: dynamiques et vivants.

Thank you! That certainly describes my goal really well.
Also, thanks re:bilingual. It’s not only helping me to keep up with my French…it’s forcing me to learn more!
Bises!

Enjoyed watching your portraits emerge on the video. Your intuition of men and women in portraiture is excellent, and well grounded.
Beautiful work!
Like your work very much - just wonderful!

Kristina...
And yet I think your paintings bring out the best in your clients/sitters. You manage to harness (for lack of a better word) their spirit and that is, to me, truly beautiful.
xo!
P.S. I’m also loving the bilingual.
