For art or for money? / Pour l’art ou pour l’argent?
I think it’s “for art and for money,” and I hope to convince you of it as well in a two minute vlog!
C’est plutôt «pour l’art et pour l’argent.» Regardez mon vidéoblog pour voir si vous êtes d’accord ou non!
I write and vlog a lot about art and money. If that’s an intersection that interests you, this section of my blog is dedicated to those articles and videos.
J’écris beaucoup à propos de l’art et l’argent sur mon blog, mais la pluplart des articles sont en anglais—sauf celui-ci!

Gwenn, I’m still working in “corporate America” to pay the bills. But as I pursue my art career (and get over my fear of commissions), I will keep your words in the back of my mind.

Charlotte Hager...
well-said madame! I too have been developing this perspective, that commissioned work is forcing me to try harder and find ways to improve what work I produce. We’re not compromising, we’re improving. Loved this post! Keep up the excellent work!
I also watched in in French too - even though I don’t speak French you sounded quite lovely speaking in French. Tre bien!
