I love how the beach has both the vastness of the horizon and the microcosms of watered nooks in the rocks.

À la plage on peut trouver à la fois l’immensité de l’horizon et les microcosmes des bassins, et j’adore ça.

It’s a bit like how a person is experienced both in their whole and in their details.

De la même manière, on connait une personne à la fois dans leur ensemble et dans leurs détails.

And that’s probably the most curious of all juxtapositions!
