I’ve never been a particularly stylish person. I love fashion, but with my outrageous shoe size and my unwillingness to apply paint to my face I’ve never been able to be a part of the modish crowd. My You Bags are my way of embracing my love of fashion on my own terms.
Je ne suis pas particulièrement chic. J’adore la mode, mais avec ma pointure scandaleuse et mon refus de me maquiller je n’ai jamais fait partie des gens qui sont à la mode. Mes You Bags sont ma façon d’embrasser mon amour de la mode à mes propres conditions.

I always found her friend’s sacrifice very touching too. I painted a portrait of his dog so that he’d have a memory of her when she wasn’t around.
Your idea sounds like a fabulous one! I recently met a family who shares a dog with another family and it seems to be working out for all involved—the dog most of all!

I love hearing about your grandmother, and seeing her pictures. I love that someone shared their dog with her in her later years. My dream is to connect career people who can’t be home all day (but want a dog) with nearby people who are home most of the day (perhaps elderly, disabled, or with a home-based business) and who hesitate committing full-time to a dog but love them, for the purpose of joint custody or shared care of dogs. It seems like a win-win-win.
