Right and wrong in art / Le correct et le pas correct dans l’art
I know that the idea that there’s no right or wrong to art is supposed to be comforting, but it’s actually rather overwhelming. After all, it’s much easier to be creative within limitations than to be inventive when there aren’t any boundaries whatsoever.
L’idée qu’il n’y a pas de correct ou de pas correct dans l’art est sensée être encourageante, mais en réalité c’est très difficile d’être créatif quand on n’a pas de limitations pour définir un problème.

I totally agree with you. It helps to know what my intention is for the painting and within that intention I have set guidelines for myself. For example, Is the shape the way I wanted it to be? Is it right? If it’s wrong, I correct it.
Having a right and wrong really does help with problem solving and gets you to your goal faster. Thanks for this video!
