A blind collaboration between Becca Bernstein and myself, Subjective is a portrait of our two families. The series explores the way that the artist’s relationship with her subject affects the finished likeness.

The show debuted at the North View Gallery in Portland in January and will tour to Bend this April on its way to Washington State next year. It’s up right now at the Corvallis Arts Center where we officially launched the exhibition catalog of the series.  Subjective the book includes images of all the works in the series and a special introductory essay by Dr. Richard Brilliant.  It’s available for $20 through the Arts Center or through me.  Email me if you’d like to purchase a copy.

Becca and I will be doing an artist talk at the Arts Center this Thursday at noon!  The show is open now through 31 March, Tuesday through Saturday 12:00 to 5:00 PM.
