Gwenn Seemel’s Dirty hands 2015

-—Leaving Portland, Oregon—-
The City of Roses was my home for 22 years. More than any place I have lived, it has made me who I am. I love it fiercely. That said, I am in the process of moving to Richmond, Virginia, and, though I think the change will end up being good, the main motivation for moving is far from positive. Portland is overrun with development. It is being done unethically and without regard for livability. If I refuse to remain silent about the bizarre behavior I’ve witnessed while trying to get simple questions answered, it’s because I believe that Portland’s power players and their pet public officials are putting residents in danger. This video about the making of Dirty hands explains some of the bad that has ruined Portland for me and for many others as well.
