Local television personalities have a sort of mythical status in their regions—more so than I realized when I embarked on Snow Days.  Though the show has long since closed, people still ask me “you actually got to meet Ken Ackerman?”  Everyone wants to know more about the people whom they invite into their living rooms every day.
