When I first started painting with acrylics, a full-range palette was overwhelming.  I did a number of paintings with reduced palettes, including this one using just a purple, a yellow, a red, quinacridone gold, and titanium white.  For the painting above from the Trickster Project, I distilled my palette to greens and reds.
