Unlike some other people, Harry does not like pink.  I must be a contrary person because that’s specifically why I included a swath of it in the background of the painting.  In 2006, while working on this portrait of a man who does like pink, I put in touches of green because he’d told me he didn’t love that color.  The more I think about it, the more I realize that this is a habit of mine…
