When I approached Janice Wilson about participating in Public Faces, I hoped she would be an interesting subject—after all, it was Sidney Lezak who had recommended her.  Janice did not disappoint me.  As we were wrapping up our already fun photo-session, she asked me if I would like to try on her robe and sit in the judge’s seat in the courtroom. She explained that it was something she often allowed kids who visited her courtroom to do. She had pegged me right: that remains one of my favorite interview moments!
