Rory’s portrait is unique for many reasons, not the least of which is that he is in a performance moment.  He may have actually been doing a cover of my favorite Joni Mitchell song when I photographed him.  On occasion, I photograph my subjects when they’re doing something besides talking to me.  Megh and I weren’t interviewing when I snapped the source image for this portrait.
