I’ve painted Claire’s portrait before and I know her well, but painting this portrait of her was still a challenge because of its small size.  This pair of portraits was designed specifically for Claire and Dénes’ lifestyle.  Dénes is Hungarian and Claire is American, but they met and currently live in France.  I wanted to be sure that the portraits I made to celebrate their wedding would be able to keep up with this multinational couple.
