I created this painting in eleven days.  Normally I like to give myself more time to paint a portrait—anywhere from a few months to a year—but I made an exception for TJ’s portrait so that it would be ready in time for Spread Ego, a show that’s up right now here in Portland.  For more information about the exhibition, visit this post on my blog.
