The title of this You Bag means both “thoughts” and “pansies” in French.  Before painting this bag, I had never painted a pansy.  And I hadn’t painted a flower since I was sixteen and creating a decorative mural of roses in a neighbor’s house.  Flowers are like people: they are not easy to capture, but their details are a lot of fun to paint!

This is my third David You Bag.  I created one in 2007 and one in 2008.
