This sweet puppy belonged to my godmother, a beautiful and kind woman who almost never let me photograph her. I’ve painted quite a few portraits of cute furry creatures over the years, but Flora is only the second French dog I’ve painted, after Pepsi. Her white hair made this piece as difficult as this one to paint.
