This painting of a chimpanzee and a canary is meant to celebrate the Chinese year of the monkey, which coincided with much of 2016. I’ve painted other animals to go with the Chinese Zodiac, like a goat, a horse, and a rabbit among others. You can watch the making of Intuition.
