A year or so after we first started our monthly meetings, Joe ended up joining the writers’ group that included Jennn, Sonya, Scot, and Phil. Even though he came to the group late, Joe still made himself very much a part of it.

I added this image to Friend Request after the showing of the series in fall 2022, because, although I had to stop painting people the people of Lambertville at some point so that I could put together an exhibition, the series wasn’t really complete without Joe—or Lloyd or Amy or Lindsay!
