Yes, George Washington spent some time in Lambertville, planning the Revolutionary War and generally being proto-Presidential, but that’s just a small part of this town’s strange and delightful history. If I know anything about sex workers paving the way for Catholics and the elephant that rampaged through town, it’s because of Lou. He’s my preferred Historical Society tour guide, as well as one of my favorite people to run into on my walks—him and Cindy.
