Blog / 2011 / Drawing My Mother

August 17, 2011

I’ve been drawing a lot of animals recently and getting back into capturing a likeness of a person is challenging. Portraiture really is its own separate universe. My whole thought process is so entirely different when I’m working on a likeness as opposed to any other kind of image.

You can commission me to make drawing for you.

Art is the love of other humans made tangible across space and time. When a person can’t get a hug from a friend, art is there to make them feel seen and understood. Please share my work with your favorite people!

Maybe this post made you think of something you want to tell me? I’d love to hear from you.
