If you still think that art is a luxury after watching this video, I challenge you to remove every last bit of art from your life to see how well you do without it.
The idea that art is a luxury is just as damaging to artists as the idea that being a starving artist is normal. Artists need support and respect for the work they do, and an easy way to provide that is to stop spreading the lie that art is a luxury.
