When I met Gitomer, we had agreed that I would paint his portrait—a one that would hand on the wall. But when I saw that he uses a tote, I decided that he had to have a You Bag too. This bag acted as a study of Gitomer’s face beyond the usual sketches I made of him. I don’t often do a full portrait in preparation for another full portrait, but sometimes I do.
