The title of this portrait means “a little walk” in French. It’s a painting of my grandmother who passed away soon after I completed this miniature portrait of her at the beginning of 2010.

When my Mamy died, I realized that she wouldn’t be helping me keep up with my French anymore. Since she couldn’t be my excuse, I gave myself a new one. I started writing and vlogging in French as well as in English, so that I wouldn’t lose half of me.
