When I paint any group of people—whether it’s couples, families, people on the subway, or party-goers—the dynamics between the figures fascinates me, and that’s certainly true of this image. Drawing, Listening, and Felting at Nana’s Place was inspired by my week at the Camp Stomping Ground artist residency this summer, along with this one of a unicorn.
