Fan art is not something I do a lot of—except, of course, in 2020 when I made a whole series using famous characters from pop culture. With this Eeyore piece, I was reflecting on how sensitive I am as well as how pessimistic I can be about the world at times. I wanted to connect with others who feel that way, and doing up this Winnie the Pooh character like this tiger felt like the perfect way to do so.
