When I was in college, I worked at the Hallie Ford Museum of Art. I did everything from processing incoming work and organizing the archives to matting prints and cleaning art that an artist had stored in his barn—think q-tips, distilled water, and owl droppings!

I enjoyed the preparator’s work the most. It helped that I liked working with Bruce, but I was also learning invaluable skills for putting up my own shows down the road. Peggy was also a big part of my positive experience at the museum.
