Lindsay introduced me to Julianna, and both of them know Wade, Lyndsay, and Michelle. Also, Julianna introduced me to Deb when I was looking for a hospice nurse for my 2005 series about the way we do and don’t deal with death. In a very real sense, my portrait portfolio is a record of my social network, with interconnecting webs always bringing me new faces and stories to nurture my creativity.
