This is not the first time I’ve painted a camera. In 2009, as part of Subjective, I painted my partner taking a picture of me to commemorate the role he plays in many of my self-portraits.

Copycat is part of a series of painted drawings that I created to illustrate my book about why I don’t copyright my work.
