Baby faces are unlike grown-up ones. Some of the difference is in the proportions—the childish features of a small nose and bigger forehead, for example—but a lot of it is in the way that kids express themselves. They don’t know how to control their faces in the same way that adults do. It’s beautiful and powerful. See how I painted this baby here on my blog.
