This fishy bit of Americana is a party twice over: once to mark the 250^th anniversary of the United States with our national symbol and once as part of the yearly fundraiser for an art scholarship in my small town of Lambertville, New Jersey. The latter is part of a spring celebration called ShadFest, named for a fish that returns to the Delaware River every year, and I explain it all here.
