Eleanor, her art, and her dog Duke were an early Lambertville discovery, dating to 2016 soon after I first moved to New Jersey, but it wasn’t until I did a Pechakucha night in Lambertville in 2017 that I felt the full force of that discovery. Most of the people I knew in the audience were family I’d invited from out of town, so Eleanor’s attendance was thoroughly appreciated. Even if she may have been coming before I invited her, she still made me feel welcome.
