The piece I’ll be creating is part of an exhibition put together by Make Room. The organization is commissioning 11 artists to make art about the rental housing crisis in the US.

My piece will depict the narrative of a neighborhood overrun by construction and corruption. Specifically, it will show the story of the north Pearl of Portland, Oregon, where I lived before moving to New Jersey. This video talks about the piece I’ll be making.
