Maybe you know that I’ve been making animations of my art since the end of last year. Well recently I made one that expresses how I feel every time someone signs up for my Patreon sticker club.

I’m sure the GIF is appropriate for other surprising and happy occasions—you’re welcome to download the phone-friendly version of it—but this could not be better timing. At the beginning of April, sticker club members will receive the astonished alien cats as a holographic sticker!

It’s been a year since my last holographic sticker and I remember distinctly the feeling I had then, during those first few weeks of COVID. The uncertainty was at an excruciating high in that moment, and sending out rainbow joy in the form of stickers felt necessary.

Throughout the pandemic, my sticker club has remained what it always was: a new sticker, magnet, or postcard of my art delivered every month to your mailbox when you support my art at the $5+ level. But it feels different now. As the lockdowns have turned many of us into homebodies, the monthly gift in the mail has taken on a new meaning.

If you want to receive the shiny cat aliens plus an extra surprise, all you have to do is sign up to send $5 every month to me through Patreon before the end of March. You can even brighten up the mailboxes of your friends! Simply pledge $5 more for each additional person and give me their addresses too, and I’ll send a bit of pretty directly to them each month.
