Artwork / Friend Request / Jen

Jen joined the Lambertville library writers’ group a few months after it was formed, missing the window for qualifying as one of the OG members as described in the text under Phil’s portrait by just a smidge. She has since been thoroughly integrated into the nurturing nexus of my writing life and I can’t imagine it working without her.

I added this image to Friend Request after the public exhibition of the series in fall 2022, because, although I had to cut myself off from painting friends at some point so that I could make a show, the series isn’t really complete without Jen—or Mark, Lloyd, and of course Bindi.
