In the video, I refer to the ways that I have transformed fear into something beautiful, and I cite two examples. Apple Pie gives American icons a facelift and asks viewers to celebrate the US’s immigrant beginnings. Crime Against Nature uses homophobia as a starting place for a series and a book about the true diversity that exists in nature. And that body of work is currently on display in Montclair as well, at the FIAF Montclair.
